The Light of Day Festival is hosting the return of a show I did with Marc Ribler and Friends back in the winter of 2017 for George Harrison's 75th birthday celebration at the Cutting Room in NYC. I’ll be singing with Marc Ribler ( Little Steven, Darlene Love) on guitars and vocals, Andy Burton (John Mayer) on keys, and Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz) on bass, all of whom were in the original show and have just returned from their world tour with Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul. Also returning from the original cast Rocky Bryant ( Maxwell, Cyndi Lauper, Family Stand) on drums, Andy York (John Mellencamp), Cyndi Lauper) on guitar and vocals and Dave Pershon on 12 String acoustic and vocals. We'll be performing some choice Harrison tunes including some of the songs showcased in the Concert for Bangladesh. The Light of Day Foundation, Inc., utilizes the power of music to raise money and awareness in its continuing battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses such as PSP and ALS within our lifetime. We had a blast last year. It's going to be a great night for a great cause.
